Thank you

Once again we would love to acknowledge our team of volunteers who were in Athlone Towncentre Shopping Centre over the weekend selling Raffle tickets. It was a great team effort and many of those that turned out 2 weeks ago at SuperValu were back in action again over the weekend – special thanks to those who did both events Anne Marie, Maggie, Colette, Maree, Aisling, Ellen, Amanda, Maura and Ciara.

We had a tremendous response, when we put the word out that we needed volunteers, and it was lovely to see some new parents coming along, thanks so much to Karl, Aoife, Meadhbh, Miriam, Joanne, Jackie, Belinda, James, Ciara, Amanda, Srijna, Linda and Trevor, we’ll definitely call on you again, a job well done!

A special word of thanks to some of our TY Students – Aoibhinn, Keela and Orlaith for giving their time to help out, all good training for them! Thanks also to our young volunteers who were a fantastic addition to the team – Saoirse, Joshua, Aahana, Lucy and Isla. One other young volunteer who we have to give a special mention to is Ruby – she’s a natural entertainer and an incredible salesperson. For anyone that met her, you know who we’re talking about, well done Ruby! The future of the club is in good hands with these amazing young people on board. Thank you all sincerely.

Thanks to everyone who supported us over the weekend and bought tickets or donated, we realise it is an expensive time for everyone so we appreciate all donations received.
